    Devops Engineer

    6 months with potential extensions

    Hybrid working- 1 or 2 days on site per week in Edinburgh

    ££- Via Umbrella

    With one of Lorien's top banking clients

    • To work on the dataservices legacy migration remediation programme
    • Aim to modernise the database/storage platforms
    • Working alongside Oracle ACS (advanced support engineers)
    • Different data services e.g. Oracle (biggest) and SQL
    • To supplement migration team
    • Conduct experiments: Liquibase and Flybase (know how to start something from concept right through to execution on application side)
    • Working knowledge of DevOps automation and tools like GitLab, TeamCity, Terraform, IaC, and Python
    • Knowledge of the core principles and benefits of DevOps, and knowledge and experience of software engineering and or IT Operations
    • Experience of working within a governed or regulated change framework
