Description

Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant with previous bookkeeping experience, who is accurate, reliable, highly organised, self-motivated and has excellent attention to detail, is required for a well-established company based in Dereham, Norfolk.


SALARY:
£19,999 - £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)


LOCATION:
Dereham, Norfolk (100% Office Based)


JOB TYPE:
Full-Time or Part-Time Permanent Applications Considered.

School hours can be accommodated too.


JOB OVERVIEW


We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant with previous bookkeeping experience, who is accurate, reliable, highly organised, self-motivated and has excellent attention to detail.


As the Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant you will have a good knowledge of VAT Rates and VAT Returns as well as dealing with Accounts Payable / AP and Accounts Receivable / AR.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant include:
Various client book-keeping on Sage

Accounts Payable

Accounts Receivable

Journals

Bank reconciliations

Payment runs

Completing VAT Returns

Liaising with the Office Manager on ad hoc tasks


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Previous Sage experience

Xero / QuickBooks experience an advantage

A good knowledge of VAT Rates and VAT Returns

Great written, verbal and communication skills

A pleasant telephone manner

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Experience with MS Office software

Understand the need of confidentiality in dealing with client information

Ability to work independently and be very pro-active

An upbeat attitude

A good eye for detail is needed
