Responsibilities

• Leadand manage the Maths department ensuring the delivery of anexceptional and engaging Mathscurriculum
• Provide guidance and support toMaths teachers fostering a collaborative and positive teachingculture
• Monitor and assess student progress inMaths implementing interventions whennecessary
• Collaborate with colleagues todevelop and implement innovative teachingstrategies
• Mentor and support Maths teachers intheir professional development
• Contribute tothe schools Maths program and extracurricularactivities
• Maintain accurate records of studentassessment attendance andbehaviour

Requirements

QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Specialization in Mathematics ora related field Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or MathematicsEducation (preferred) Extensive experience in teaching Mathematicspreferably in a leadership role Indepth knowledge of theMathematics curriculum Excellent leadership and management skillswith the ability to inspire and motivate a team Strongcommunication organizational and problemsolving abilitiesCommitment to ongoing professional development and staying uptodatewith the latest trends in Mathematicseducation
