Role Overview:


  • Manage accounts and optimise project opportunities across the Midlands.
  • Experience of visualising and developing racking / mezzanine based multiproduct storage systems and warehouse solutions.
  • Reporting to National Sales Manager.
  • Seek out new business opportunities using all the various lead sources available, including personal network.
  • Conduct client visits to develop strong relationships and establish customer requirements.
  • Personal responsibility for managing and developing accounts with high value projects, from presales to close.
  • Full engagement with other departments to ensure project specifications, budgets and program expectations are met.
  • Create account plans for development of target accounts.
  • Provide accurate and timely client quotations.
  • Produce accurate monthly reports and forecasts.
  • Home based with travel to clients and office locations as required.

Experience Required:


  • Proven experience in a fieldbased specification/solutionbased sales role, focussed on selling warehouse storage, handling or automation systems.
  • Ability to close business opportunities at agreed profit levels.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Selfmotivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • IT Competent: Microsoft Office user, PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc. Costing and Design tools.
  • Ability to manage and track all sales opportunities through Salesforce CRM system.
  • AutoCAD literate, ability to read engineering drawings and layouts.
