The Income Collection Team are looking to recruit an Income Collection Officer to join our committed and supportive team.

Income Collection Officer's play a vital role in collecting Bristol City Council revenue as well as managing debt with an ethical and considered approach.

There is a notable range in the duties of the role.

These include choosing between methods to recover debt, representing the Council at court hearings, visiting citizens in their homes and at their businesses as well as supporting vulnerable people who find themselves with significant debts to the Council.

You will have experience in the collection or recovery of revenue in either the public or private sector, exceptionally good time management skills and an adaptable approach to change.

You will have the ability to convey complex matters effectively, collaborate with colleagues across the authority and have experience in advocacy and presentation skills.

You will be able to identify and positively address vulnerability and have a pro-active approach to service development.
