Description
EMJ is looking for a driven and meticulous Finance Assistant to be responsible for accounts payable, payroll preparation, balance sheet and bank reconciliations and other tasks key to its Finance team.

Expectations
- Lead on preparing data for monthly payroll, including expenses, commission calculations and data submissions to the company pension scheme
- Assist the Finance Manager with producing the monthly management accounts and adhoc tasks
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Working alongside another Finance Assistant, to support on occasion with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Experience Required
- Experience working in a Finance team
- Experience using Xero (desirable)
- Good IT skills (Excel, Outlook and Word)
- Excellent organisation skills and great attention to detail
- Great verbal and written communication
- A quick learner and an appetite to learn
- No job is too small you understand that each task contributes to your success and the success of the organisation
Key Information

Salary:
£25,000 - minimum increase £30,000 after 1yr, £35,000 after 2yrs service

Reports to**: Antony Kindell, Finance Manager

Hours:
8.30am - 5pm, Mon-Fri

Working pattern:
Minimum 3 days onsite

This role is based onsite in our London/Moorgate office
