    Description

    EMJ is looking for adriven and meticulous Finance Assistant. The right candidate willbe responsible for assisting in the preparation of managementaccounts balance sheet reviews and has knowledge of accountsreceivable and accounts payable.

    Expectations

    • Ensuringcompliance with internal policies andprocedures.
    • Fixed Asset Register Prepayment andAccrual reconciliation.
    • Control accountreconciliation.
    • Journal postings to accountssystem.
    • Commission calculation for salesteam.
    • Reconciliation of CRM to accountssystem.
    • Assisting Finance manager withpreparation of weekly cashflow.
    • Support ourLegal and Procurement department on an ad hocbasis.
    • Updating Finance KPIs andmetrics.
    • Various ad hocprojects.

    ExperienceRequired

    Essential

    • Excellentcommunication skills (verbal and written) and excellent telephonemanner.
    • Capable of working with colleaguesacross departments.
    • Excellent organisationskills and great attention to detail.
    • A quicklearner and an appetite to learn.
    • Strong Excelknowledge.

    Desirable

    • Experienceusing Xero and Zoho (CRM).
    • Studying AAT ordegree in Accounting and Finance.
    • 12 years ofexperience working in a Financeteam.

    • Salary:25000.
    • Reports to: Beau McCarthy (FinanceManager)
    • Hours: 8.30am 5pmMonFri
    • Working pattern: Up to 2 daysflexibility to work from home (FT in office duringprobation)
