Ramzi El Azzi

I started my legal career as a trainee lawyer  where I gained experience in different law branches such as Civil and Criminal Law, Banking & Finance Law, Corporate and Property law among others, I passed the trainee lawyer bar exam and consequently was registered at the Beirut Bar Association as a trainee lawyer. 

       In 2010 , I co-inaugurated a larger scale firm (Azzi Law Firm) in Sin El Fil-Beirut. I had also hired a team of lawyers and paralegals to assist with the firm’s work. 

        The firm’s areas of legal practice included but were not limited to litigation, legal consultation, research,  document drafting and reviewing, related to many branches of law including but not limited to banking & finance law, civil , corporate, real estate and property law, intellectual property law, media & family law.

         As a law firm manager my main duties included representing clients of the firm in legal proceedings, providing legal advice, preparing and reviewing documents in English, French & Arabic  .

       My duties at the firm also included managing and overseeing a team of lawyers and paralegals and ensuring the proper functioning of the law firm which helped enhance my management and communication skills in addition to my ability to work under pressure.

         I was also appointed by the Beirut Bar Association as a member of several committees including The Committee for International Relations (since 2016), The Committee of Intellectual Property and The Legal Aid committee.

       I started my academic foundation in law with an LLB Degree at Saint Joseph University in Beirut then continued my academic studies at La Sagesse University where I graduated from. I further extended my law studies during the years thanks to postgraduate courses at La Sagesse University, specializing in Private Law.

       I also recently completed an LLM (Master of Laws) at City University of London and I was awarded the degree in March 2022 with distinction and I received the City Law School Prize for Excellence in Civil Dispute Resolution Options.
