Senior Sustainability Consultant

Location:
Leeds


Salary:
Up to 48k

Hybrid Remote Role

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Sustainability Consultant to come and join a team based in Leeds.


Our client is a leading nationwide, multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy that are dedicated to sustainability and have positioned themselves as a beyond net zero carbon company, with a strong commitment to embedding sustainability in everything they do.

Their mission is to empower their staff to make a positive impact, not only on their business but also on the environment and their shareholders.


Responsibilities:


  • Supporting Clients in the delivery of Corporate Carbon footprint assessments and Net Zero transition planning
  • Delivery of site energy audits and development of energy reduction initiative solutions
  • Liaising with Clients to obtain and review data and engage on supply chain emissions
  • Production of written reports and presentations

Key Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Ideally 5 years previous experience within a similar role
  • Demonstrable experience of sitebased energy auditing
  • ESOS Lead Assessor qualification beneficial but not required
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of key sustainability themes and demonstrate expertise in area of carbon reporting standards and carbon emissions reduction is preferred.
  • Work well within a team
