- Lead the electrical design process for complex building services projects, from concept design through to construction and commissioning.
- Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving innovation.
- Mentor and coach junior and midlevel engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and best practices in electrical design engineering, and integrate them into project delivery.
- Drive business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in client presentations.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Masters degree or equivalent professional qualification is desirable.
- Extensive experience in electrical design engineering within the building services sector, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects to a high standard.
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or equivalent professional accreditation is essential.
- Strong technical proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and advanced electrical design tools.
- Indepth knowledge of building regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., IET Wiring Regulations, BS 7671), with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and delivering projects to exceed client expectations.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to drive business growth and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
