Furniture Installation Van Driver


We are looking for an experienced Furniture Installation Van Driver for a full time permanent position with our client based in Nottingham, NG6.


The Work
The work involves delivering, assembling and installing various office furniture and machinery to businesses across the UK.

Previous experience in a similar role is absolutely essential. A minimum of 6 months furniture installation experience is required. In addition to this drivers must also have at least 2 years commercial van driving experience.

Drivers will be required to deliver to businesses across the country.

The number of drops can vary from day to day from a single drop (and installation) to around 4 to 6 drops per day.


Hours


You will be working an average of 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with usual start times around 8am, however, occasionally earlier or later start times may be required so drivers must be flexible.


Requirements:


  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Able to lift and carry goods
  • At least 2 years commercial van driving experience.
  • At least 6 months furniture installation experience.
  • No more than 6 points on licence for minor convictions.
  • Able to provide details of two recent work references.

Salary
- £23,000 to £25,000 (depending on experience)
