Description

Are you experienced in managing large-scale projects? Have you been involved in CAPEX projects from start to finish? We are working with a top engineering and manufacturing company in Birmingham that is on the lookout for a Project Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully executing CAPEX projects in a manufacturing setting.

Project Manager

Job Description

Oversee CAPEX projects from inception to completion
Create and substantiate each CAPEX case in line with business standards
Collaborate with all departments and stakeholders to establish and revise a three-year project roadmap
Draft RFQs for potential suppliers, detailing technical requirements and deadlines
For more intricate projects, prepare functional design specifications and safety protocols
Utilize SAP for requisitions, purchase order creation, and monitoring of budget allocation and expenditure
Conduct project presentations and secure budget approvals, managing changes and progress
Develop both simple and detailed cost plans with a structured work breakdown

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in successfully managing CAPEX budgets, to be discussed in the interview
Proven track record in overseeing large-scale projects
Background in Engineering/Technology, with prior experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in budget oversight
