Jackson Hogg are delighted to be partnering with an Engineering organisation on the appointment of an Accounts Assistant.The main purpose of the role is to provide accounts support within the finance department.
The role will be a hands-on in a busy finance department, heavily transaction based and will cover multiple tasks within the finance function.
Main responsibilities:
- Credit Control
- Maintain Time Control System
- Posting weekly labour to recharge hours to projects
- Preparing and processing supplier payments through SAGE and HSBC
- Processing Sub-Contractor invoices working closely with Project Managers to resolve any queries
- CIS Tax initial verification and monthly submission
- Processing travel spend
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Other duties as cover or support:
- Expenses processing
- Processing travel requests in absence of admin assistant
- Resolving supplier queries and providing payment updates via telephone

£25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
