    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Scientist to provide services for our Herbicide Development operations. You will be responsible for the receipt, tracking, organisation and initial sample preparation of incoming compounds to moa Technology.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Working as part of the Compound Management team, you will prepare samples for the scientific team in an efficient manner.

    Both by weighing of solid samples, solubilisation and transfer of solutions by pipetting techniques and the use of robotics. You will show keen attention to detail tracking their lab work with various types of software.
    You will additionally be responsible for maintaining an inventory database using both bespoke software and Microsoft Excel.
    Full training and support will be provided to allow you to perform their role effectively.
    We are searching for individuals who strive to deliver tangible impact through organized,dedicated and conscientious working. Previous lab experience is not required.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE RequiredGCSEs at grade C or above or equivalent qualificationsof working with Excel spreadsheetsDesirable (but not required)experience of working in a laboratory environmentexperience of sample weighing and preparationexperience of pipetting or liquid handling robotsNational Certificate or Higher National Diploma in a scientific disciplineSKILLS AND COMPETENCIES - Describe the required and desirable skills and competencies needed to successfully perform the roleExcel (please test competency with excel exercise in advance of face to face as pre-screening)Organisation skills and time managementClear communication with other team members and other departmentsAttention to detail and precision of workautonomously and from working with a dynamic team and people from diverse and effectively communicate on complex and sensitive topics.deadlines, demonstrating awareness of realistic time requirements for yourself and technical service providers.a 'hands-on' approach to tackling operational challenges and communication to internal and external stake motivated, resilient and to evolve with the changing needs of the business on a rapid growth records as outlined by SOPs and corporate company work hours, policies, and standard business etiquette.
