Material Handler

Teamwork is crucial at McAuley Engineering and we're looking for a team player with a 'can-do' attitude to join our Material Handling team.

This team makes sure that our production is continually fed with the material required for each part of the process - kitting and despatching to internal and external customers as applicable.

Objectives of the role

Handle materials in a safe and orderly manner
Assist with timely fulfillment and delivery products
Work with team members to meet established goals
Contribute to a company culture that champions diversity, creativity and facilitates innovation

Required Skills:

Strong communiction and organisation skills
Good understanding of basic computerised stock control systems
Good written and verbal english
Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental requirements for material handling
Excellent accuracy & attention to detail is key for this role.
Timely and effective performance of tasks
Kitting fabricated components
A confident level of computer literacy
Forklift operation experience would be advantageous

The Person:

Positive and upbeat, able to use your people skills to discuss requirements at all levels.
Selfmotivation and high levels of initiative are also highly valued characteristics in this role.

Working hours

Part time permanent

- flexible start time around core working week.

Ideally located within walking distance of Ballymoney town centre, as well as main road and rail links, McAuley Engineering is a component manufacturer for various different industries, including Transport, Food and Medical sectors.
