For every week of tuition that a student studies with us, we give a week of education to underprivileged people from where our students are recruited.

This is an on site role and will be based in UK (London, Bournemouth or Brighton).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting oral IELTS exams as per IELTS training and procedures.

Profile Requirements:

  • An undergraduate or Master's degree or a qualification which can be demonstrated to be equivalent to an undergraduate or Master's degree.
  • A recognised qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or recognised equivalent as part of a recognised university award course.
  • At least 3 years' full time (or the equivalent part time) relevant TESOL teaching experience (minimum one year postcertificate level qualification). The majority of this teaching experience must relate to adult students (16 years and over).
  • The required professional attributes and interpersonal skills.


Successful applicants must be available for a week's examiner training to be held in Stratford, London towards the end of September (dates to be confirmed).

Training is not paid.

  • Bayswater is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. As part of our Safer Recruitment Policy you will be asked to explain any gaps in your work and education history. You will also be required to undergo a DBS Enhanced Disclosure check and provide the contact details of at least 2 referees, who will be asked specifically if they have any concerns about your suitability to work with people under 18. Evidence of eligibility to work in the UK must be provided at interview stage._
