RM Recruit are working with a growing charity to recruit a Head of Finance for their team.Due to the retirement of the current post holder, this forward thinking charity is looking for a senior finance professional to join their leadership team with the role reporting directly to the CEO.
Your remit will include, but not be limited to:- Responsibility for overseeing all financial management, control and systems for the charity ensuring accuracy and completeness of all internal and external reporting.
- Cashflow management and overseeing banking arrangements and relationships
- Leading annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.
- Preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial data including management accounts, budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Production of annual financial statements and liaise with external auditors
- Board and Committee meetings attendance as requested, presenting and interpreting the financial information in a manner appropriate to senior stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including charity regulatory bodies and HMRC
- Responsibility for the organisations Tax and VAT position.
- Oversee the financial position of a notforprofit trading subsidiary and all intercompany transactions.
- Asset Management including arranging relevant insurances.
- Maintaining and updating financial procedures as necessary.
Salary:
£45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
