Are you an Estimator seeking a role with one of Perthshire's premier property developers?
Our client is a main contractor specialising in bespoke homes, civils, joinery and decoration works across the region.

Renowned for high quality workmanship and excellent customer service, they specialise in versatile construction projects, creating beautiful, high-quality homes and commercial properties across Scotland.

Reporting to a Commercial Manager, responsibilities for this role will include:

Analysis of tender documentation to identify and limit risk.
Prepare subcontract and supplier pricing packs.
Pricing inhouse trade packages.
Building up rates from first principles.
Developing library costs and rates.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive network of subcontractors and suppliers.
Obtaining competitive subcontractor and material prices.
Drafting necessary preliminaries allowances.
Compiling full tender submission for Senior Management approval.
Finalising and submitting agreed tender.
Attending post award tender handover meetings with project team.
Proven track record in a construction estimating role.
Ability to take ownership, work to tight deadlines & manage competing priorities.
Excellent commercial awareness and negotiating skills.
Proactive approach, excellent written and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with estimating software packages.
