Percy Gee Building University of Leicester (UoL) campus


Contracted hours: 35 hours per week. Monday to Friday primarily with weekend work on rotation (for Open days & other yearly events). Shift during the week can include lates, evenings and early shifts. Early shifts are approx. 8am-3.30pm, lates are approx. 11am - 6.30pm. _

The role:


We have some amazing opportunities available in our We Proudly Serve Starbucks outlet for a Barista to join the Leicester Services Partnership (LSP) team.


We are looking for individuals who have great people skills, are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, are able to work as part of a team, have a 'can do' attitude and are flexible to work shifts as and when required.


Previous experience in a Starbucks outlet or similar role is what we are looking for, however it is not essential as full training will be provided.


As a Barista you will assist in preparing and serving food, drinks and snacks for our customers, whilst adhering to excellent food hygiene standards and providing outstanding customer service.


You will also be expected to maintain a high level of cleanliness in the area you work and have knowledge of our products, be able to promote our services and upselling wherever possible.


Ability to commute/relocate:


  • Leicester, LE1 7RH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Catering: 1 year (preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Starbucks/Barista trained (preferred
