Join our team at Richard Coates Primary School as a School Cleaner and contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students.

Your role as a cleaner is vital in upholding our standards of cleanliness and hygiene and you would become a key member of our site management team.

Hours:
hours per week


Working Hours:
Afternoons (mornings may be considered) ideally between 3pm - 6pm. Monday to Friday.


Pay Rate:
£11.59 per hour


Contract:
Term time (with some additional days during school holidays; )


Key Responsibilities:

• Various cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, wiping, and polishing surfaces.
• Empty litter bins, and dispose of rubbish.
• Safely use powered equipment provided, following Health & Safety regulations.
• Assist in opening and closing the premises while ensuring security.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and occasionally work independently.
• Undertake additional duties appropriate to the nature and level of the role.

• Reliable and punctual with a positive work ethic.
• Strong commitment to the welfare and safety of children and young people.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning.
• Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing tasks.
• Flexibility to work some days during some school holidays.
