    Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Public Sector Organisation, who are looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join their team based in the Dorset area. JOB DETAILS
    • PAY RATE: £44,428.00 Per Annum
    • WORK TYPE: Permanent
    • WORK PATTERN: Full Time
    • LOCATION: Dorset
    JOB DESCRIPTION
    The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
    • Monthly management and assistance with yearly statutory accounts
    • Budget and projection preparation
    • Financial report preparation and communication with budget holders and other stakeholders outside of finance to debate and review
    • Maintaining a high degree of technical accounting expertise to guarantee that accounts are properly produced and in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
    • Ensure that all reporting deadlines are met without fail.
    • Manage workload, delivery, and assistant management development
    THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
    The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
    • GCSE and A-Level Standard (or equivalent) education, including GCSE passes in English and Maths. A relevant degree or AAT level three or above would be advantageous.
    • It is preferable if you are a qualified member of or studying for a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
    • The position is ideal for a trained accountant, or five to ten years of related experience in the lack of professional qualifications. Working as part of a financial reporting team, managerial accounting, and budgeting are all examples of relevant experience. Working with financial systems and as part of a wider team to achieve mutual goals.
    • Strong all-around IT abilities, as well as expert level Excel skills, are required. Experience with and knowledge of specialised financial systems is preferred.
