Selective Recruitment are seeking an Accounts Administrator or one of our established standing clients located in Cowley, Oxford

£23,000 to £27,000

Duties of Account Administrator:


  • Create both cheque and Bacs weekly payment runs for suppliers and send out relevant paperwork.
  • To receive monthly petty cash and expense claims
  • Process monthly credit card bills for all Schemes, order new cards & deal with queries.
  • Assist with Sales Ledger duties when required including preparation and dispatch of service charge invoices, processing and collection of Direct Debit payments, credit control and answering queries.
  • Assist with the recording and banking of cheques & allocating them.
  • Assist the Finance Manager with the posting of bank transactions on to the finance system.
  • Send out quarterly transaction reports and profit & loss reports to Managers and deal with any queries.
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
  • To be prepared to undertake a range of other accounting tasks

Technical Skills/Knowledge/Experience for Accounts Administrator:


  • Previous Accounts experience
  • Able to prioritise, plan and organise a varied workload, with accuracy in a fastpaced environment
  • Administrative experience with knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel Pivot tables
  • Sage experience is desirable
  • AAT qualification (Ideally level 2 or 3)
