About the team:


Due to growth, this is a brand new opportunity to support the InterBay Asset Finance (IBAF) business activity throughout the full loan cycle through field based asset audits and inspections.

The Asset Auditor will attend customer and end hirer locationsto perform asset audits and inspections, identify any risks, and highlight concerns via detailed reports.


You will be required to travel to customer and end-hirer locations across England, Scotland and Wales on a regular basis with potential for this to be at short notice and/or include overnight stays. You will also be required to attend the officein Fleet.

What you will be doing:


In this role, you will work closely with Credit, and Asset Management to schedule and complete in life asset audits and inspections at customer and end hirer sites to an agreed timetable.

Your responsibilities will also include

  • Assisting Collections and Sales with asset inspections
  • Supporting the Asset Manager with review of asset audit and asset inspection reports
  • Creating MI Reporting and provide suitable commentary for management meetings
  • Building and developing internal relationships with all key stakeholders

In return for your commitment:

We offer a base salary dependent on experience from £45,000 and a car allowance.

Could you be the one?
We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Previous experience of working with a variety of hard asset types which IBAF fund including vehicles, plant and machinery is essential.
  • Knowledge and experience of audit and inspection processes and standards within the Asset Finance industry is essential.
  • Previous Collections experience is desirable.
