This role has a starting salary of £23,243 (pro rated for part time staff) per annum based on 36 hour working week.


We are looking for
either one full time or two part time administrators to work in this varied and interesting role within the Children, Families & Learning Business Support Team based in our Reigate or Woking office.


Full time would be 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.50am to 5pm, part time would be 18 hours per week over 2.5 full days Monday to Friday.


You can choose to be based at eitherWoodhatch Place, Reigate
OR Quadrant Court, Woking.

Children, Families and Learning provides a range of highly specialist services to vulnerable children and young people. Our admin teams support front line Social Care and Education staff.


In this role you will organise multi-agency meetings on behalf of the social care teams, liaise with professionals both within Social Care and with other agencies; keep track of information, update and maintain spreadsheets and databases; take meeting notesand subsequently distribute to involved parties, ensuring timescales are met; and provide performance information.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a solid background in administration, particularly working with highly confidential information
  • Has experience of working in a busy office environment
  • Has excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Is confident, organised and able to implement a proactive approach to your work
  • Has excellent IT skills and is proficient in using Microsoft Office
  • Please outline your administration experience
  • Note taking support to meetings is a large part of this role. Please give evidence, with examples, of your laptop note taking experience
  • Please describe, and give examples, of how you maintain good customer service
  • Please list the skills and any qualifications you have that are relevant to this job


An enhanced DBS 'Disclosure and Barring Service' check for regulated activity (formerly known as CRB) and the Children's and Adults' Barred List checks will be required for this role.
