Due to ongoing expansion within the OIC (Official Injury Claim) department of the First Response Team, we are looking to recruit for Trainee Personal Injury Portal Specialist.

- Undertake all relevant training and put it into practice with the desired outcome to be able to confidently handler a case load of files and deal with cases until settlement.
- Gradually build up a case load of personal injury files giving consideration to relevant regulations and legislation. Ensure that cases are valued accurately and appropriate advice is given to clients.
- Ensure the client obtains the appropriate level of compensation for their personal injury and losses, in accordance with regulations and legislation;
- Ensure that all evidence is uploaded to the relevant claims portals to achieve the best possible outcome for the client and Winn Group;
- Ensure that all disbursements incurred are proportionate and recovered from the other side by uploading them to the relevant claims portal;
- Deliver a level of Client Care in accordance with SRA regulations;
- Follow the Department procedures and processes along with Company policies at all time;
- Maximise the recovery of other Winn Group costs, without compromising the best outcome for the client;
- Report issues, problems and compliance breaches in a timely manner to the appropriate level of management;
- Ensure compliance with Information Security Policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the Information Systems used.

- Any ad hoc or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Management Team for this post and the associated level of responsibility attached to it
Person Specification:
- Demonstrate effective communication and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with difficult clients, communicate effectively, and where appropriate give legal advice in relation to their claim.
- Ability to work towards shared goals and objectives
- Cooperative and flexible approach
- Ability to identify where problems may arise and adopt a solution focused approach
- IT literate
- Commitment to own personal development and learning
