Description

We are looking for a Bricklayer / General Builder to join our team.

We are a small Hertfordshire based construction company who pride ourselves on our quality of work alongside excellent work ethic and customer service.

due to our current and ongoing workload, we are looking to add a Bricklayer / General builder to our team.

To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following requirements

Be reliable, good time keeping and polite.
Be able to work alone as well as in a team.
Have a minimum 5 years experience in bricklaying and construction
Own van and tools is essential for this role.
You will need to be able to complete tasks efficiently and to excellent standards through your work ethic.

Our main areas of work are residential projects including Extensions, New Build and Refurbishments so you will be required to have experience and knowledge to complete the following tasks

Understand and read architects and engineers drawings.
Assist with any groundwork (Foundations, Drainage, Making Good)
Bricklaying including setting out from the foundations to complete structures
Assisting all other trades to enable to the projects to be completed on time and on budget
Be willing to help others where required and be part of the team.
Although our main line of work is residential, we do undertake some commercial so you must be willing and able to work on small commercial refurbishments.

This will be a self employed post with an immediate start.

Work hours are You will be required to be on site for 7.30 for set up ready to start at 8am.
