Service Care Solutions are looking for an Asset and Configuration Manager to work in Worthing to work on a Hybrid working basis for a well-known Private company in the South of England.

Job Overview

As the Asset & Configuration Manager you will support the Service Management Centre (SMC) lead and manage the lifecycle of the processes that ensure the content and quality of data recorded in the Service Asset and Configuration Management databases (AMDB &CMDB) meet the required standards.

You will be responsible for ensuring processes are fit for purpose and drive continuous improvement activity to deliver increased value from the CMDB.

Working collaboratively with other SMC Leads, you will also help to improve process performance and capabilitythrough provision of high-quality configuration data.

This is a crucial role within the organisation as you will be responsible for ensuring that all other Service Management processes and technical functions have access to the right data at the right time.

You will need to have a focus on developing the organisationsService Management using the ServiceNow platform.

This role is critical in enabling the IT department to manage and change Southern water's systems, network, assets and software based on sound, accurate configuration data all of which reduce risk and impactto the business.

You will need to understand how the ServiceNow platform underpins the Service Asset & Configuration Management process and how, in turn, this enables all other processes to operate effectively.

Key requirements

  • Demonstrable knowledge of the operation and management of a CMDB.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of using ServiceNow.
  • Deep understanding of IT Service Management processes (ITIL) and how Configuration Management underpins these.
  • Extensive experience of working in a Configuration Management lead role.
  • Experience of implementing integrations within ServiceNow platform.
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate as a minimum.
Package
This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between Durrington and home.

It is offering a salary of circa £56,000 per annum depending on skills and experience as well as other benefits including:
