Are you a looking to kick-start your career in bidding within a supportive and knowledgeable team?- Do you have excellent writing skills and attention to detail?- If you answered yes to the above questions, then this could be the role for you- We are looking for a Graduate/Assistant Bid Writer to join our collaborative central Bid Hub at Pick Everard's Leicester Head Office.

This team is vital, as they are responsible for tender management across all our divisions and offices.

This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and join us on our unique journey in proposals management as part of a multi-disciplinary, national construction and property consultancy.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify, review and log new bid enquiries from clients
  • Provide proof reading and editing support to Bid Writers and Managers
  • Create and edit bid responses for PQQ and SQ documents
  • Review, log and circulate tender Q&As
  • Assist in the design and completion of storyboards and bid plans
  • Set up bid response documents
  • Complete company information and company responses within bids
  • Complete CVs and case studies to within bids
  • Collate information to support bid proposals
  • Report on bid progress through appropriate internal channels
  • Update and file bid information as needed
  • Liaison with other departments offering effective customer service in a professional manner
  • Collate and report on bid activity to the practice's Head of Bidding
  • Provide general administration support to the team as required
  • Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
    Please note, interviews will take place at our Leicester office week commencing Monday 28th August 2023.

About You:

***- As a Graduate/Assistant Bid Writer, you will support all aspects of the bidding process, and be a crucial part of our successful bidding team


Key Requirements:


  • Degreelevel education
  • English, History, Engineering
  • Good writing skills with the ability to write in a concise and convincing manner
  • Skills in reviewing and editing written content
  • Good time management skills
  • Personable attitude and willingness to engage with people from all levels of the business
  • Attention to detail
  • Good IT skills, particularly with MS Word and Excel
  • A general understanding or willingness to learn about the construction and property industry
