    We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Cost Manager at our thriving London office. Joining a supportive network as part of a national team, you can expect to receive valuable training, guidance and genuine scope for career development.

    We work across sectors, including healthcare, education, commercial, residential, defence and heritage. With Pick Everard, you can expect to be able to diversify your experience and work with some high profile, prestigious clients. Take a look at some of our projects:

    Your focus will be with the preparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities, contract documents and reports. You will be building on existing client relationships and therefore ensuring commissions are delivered on time.

    About You

    Our ideal Cost Manager must have:

    • Previous experience delivering cost management of building projects from feasibility/option studies through to detailed cost planning and post contract cost management.
    • Thorough knowledge of the principal standard forms of building contracts, including JCT and NEC3
    • A commitment to delivering a high-quality client experience
    • Multi-sector background gained in consultancy or construction environment

    It would be nice for you to have:

    • MRICS / Chartered Surveyor status
    • A professional and compassionate attitude
    • Excellent client communication skills, report writing skills and presentation skills
