Harpenden, Hertfordshire

BAND 6 £32,000 - £36,000 FTE**We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse (Chemotherapy Nurse) for the Oncology ward at this service in Harpenden - a unique exciting opportunity for a specialist nurse.

This treatment centre offers private and NHS referral patient's treatment for a wide range of cancers, we are looking for an experienced nurse to work with the existing team to provide a specialist service to patients and their families with Haematologicalcancer and those undertaking Chemotherapy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Chemotherapy Nurse will assess patients' health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload of cancer patients.
You will assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals' health and wellbeing needs throughout the cancer treatment pathway.
You will assist in maintaining and developing cancer services and contribute to quality improvement within cancer services.

Working Mon - Fri 37.5 hours per week + some on call
