The Role (Duties and Responsibilities):


As a Marketing Executive, you will report to the Marketing/Business Development Manager and be responsible for creating new initiatives while refining existing processes to enhance, streamline, and simplify our overall marketing operations.

Your role will involve proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, advocating for efficient processes, facilitating regular and clear communication, and ensuring that all sales personnel are well-informed and actively involved.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to influence business leaders with your ideas and provide guidance and support to a junior member of the marketing team.

As a marketer, you must possess a highly creative mindset, with duties encompassing, but not limited to:

  • Executing day-to-day projects, encompassing tactical activities, reporting, and campaign ownership across both online and offline channels.
  • Acting as a CRM Champion, assisting in training and supporting sales teams with software and processes, and utilizing CRM data to formulate new marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborating with the wider team to generate highquality content and proofreading copy as needed.
  • Organizing and managing events and marketing communications.
  • Conducting digital advertising and general SEO work, including news and technical blogging.
  • Overseeing website management
  • Providing comprehensive marketing support and holiday cover, including ad hoc content creation, bespoke letters, product images, technical drawings, prospecting collateral, meetings (sales and marketing) etc.
  • Handling general marketing administrative duties.

Essential skills and experience:


  • Minimum of two years of previous work experience in a marketing position.
  • Proficiency in the full suite of Adobe software.
  • Possession of a full driving license.
  • Demonstrated organization, methodical approach, and keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in content writing and strong proofreading skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills across written, spoken, and presentation formats.
  • Demonstrated drive and initiative for continual improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and foster strong working relationships with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Persuasive and diplomatic communication style.

Preferred skills and experience:


  • Previous experience in a B2B office environment.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • Familiarity with the fluid sealing industry.
  • Experience in presenting to various stakeholders.
  • Experience in print production.
  • Proficiency in artwork production.

  • Salary: £28k to £35k D.O.E + Bonus + Pension
  • Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays (Rising to 25 after 5 years' service)
  • Hours: 8.30am/9am to 5pm/5.30pm (37.5 hours per week)

  • Parking: Free employee parking
