The Company
Maintenance Engineer - Salary circa £51,000

Nigel Wright is pleased to be working with a dynamic, growing manufacturing business in the North East, supporting in their search for a Maintenance Engineer working a continental shift pattern (4 on 4 off).


The Role
- ??PLC fault finding and completing multi skilled maintenance activities across site

  • Provide engineering solutions and root cause analysis
  • Effectively communicate any inefficiencies to the wider engineering team
  • Preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment across site
  • Assist with instillation and support contractors when required

Person Specification

  • Utilise qualifications to add real value to the maintenance and engineering team
  • Ideally, you will have completed an multi skilled apprenticeship (4 year)
  • Previous experience of working within a highvolume manufacturing environment (FMCG) ideally having worked with automated machinery previously
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to increase sophisticated production methods across site
  • Strong communication skilled, efficiently highlighting any inefficiencies to senior management
