- Uphold and consistently improve the reputation of the home and Cedar Care by promoting a positive image of the home both internally and externally.
- Establishing and maintaining good relationships with Residents, their relatives and relevant others.
- Remain informed and updated in current legislation, best practice and market trends in areas relevant to the home by active research and reading.
- Assist in maximizing the income of the home by carrying out viewings as required and monitoring dependency levels to assist in the negotiation of funding or fees.
- Manage the admission procedure by establishing through a detailed pre-admission assessment that the home is registered to provide services to potential residents.
- Reports to and communicates effectively with the registered manager as required by informing them immediately of any incidents that affect the safety and welfare of residents.
- Uphold the lifestyle, choices and decisions of residents.
- Optimise the care and welfare outcome of the residents.
- Residents' food preferences, nutritional and hydration needs are met.
- Demonstrate both clinical, care and managerial leadership to RGN team leaders, carers and ancillary staff, as appropriate, allowing opportunities for staff to communicate openly and positively.
- Support, supervise and advise nursing team leaders to ensure that care delivery meets all residents identified needs.
- Take responsibility for the safe ordering, administration and safekeeping of drugs and treatments, as prescribed and in accordance with the home's policies, if applicable, and NMC Guidelines.
- Potential consideration to be considered from Fixed term contract to permanent, based on evaluation and assessment.
- Strong IT skills to handle care and clinical software.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Occasional Weekends may be required.
Rate of Pay: £ £24.00 per hour (Depending on Experience and Qualifications)
Location: Larkhall Springs Nursing Home, Swainswick Gardens, Larkhall, Bath BA1 6TL.

Job Role:
As a Clinical Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of person-centered care to our residents. You will have an essential part in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. This role will give you the chance to lead and inspire a nursing team and always ensure the highest standards of resident dignity and care.

Job Requirements:
Experience in a care environment in a senior nursing role
RGN/RMN qualified
A valid NMC PIN number
Strong oral and written communication skills
A forward-facing, organised attitude with attention to detail
Ability to lead by example and be a role model for all nursing and care staff
