Ascot hostsaround 600,000 racegoers a year across 26 race days, 300,000 of whom come tothe five days of Royal Ascot.

Royal Ascot capacity can reach an attendance of75,000 on a day. Ascots conference and events business welcomes a further200,000 customers a year outside racing.

Ascot aimsto offer its racegoers something for everyone who wishes to be involved, andRoyal Ascots offerings reflect this through the entry level Windsor picnicenclosure, the mid-tier Village enclosure, the central Queen Anne Enclosure andultimately the Royal Enclosure.

And incorporating up to 7000 racegoers in awide range of private box and restaurant fine dining facilities.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As part of our Bet withAscot Team, you will be responsible for ensuring our betting team/operatorsare supplied with cash to enable them to pay out winnings to our guests or collectmoney from the team/operators to take back to the cash office.

You will act as link between the Cash Officeand our team of operators.

You will also help theracecard sales team by selling racecards to our guests/customers as they accessthe racecourse.

Most customers use cashto pay for the racecards so you will have to manage a float and be able tomanage cash as well as give the correct change.

This is raceday roleworking on Ascot Racedays and the 5 days of Royal Ascot.

We have avariety of positions available in the Bet With Ascot team that will operate inall areas of the racecourse.

What will the role involve?

Customer service

Taking cash to the team of betting operators fromthe cash office bets under direction of the cash office manager
Collect cash from the betting operators and returnto the cash office, again under the direction of the cash office manager.
Help to sell racecards under the direction of theDuty Manager
Ensuring your work area is kept clean and safe andclear of clutter
Work up to 26 race days per year (see 2024 fixtureslist below)
Undertake training and elearning courses as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

No formal qualifications are required but a can-do attitudeand willingness to work as part of the team is essential.
