Description

The role is that of delivering & coordinating the provision of training courses and promoting timely completion of assigned courses for all staff across the Business.

The role will be carried out in accordance with the Company's policies ensuring full compliance with Regulations and promoting best practice.

The role includes but is not limited to;

  • Identifying training providers, training courses and apprenticeships
  • Liaise with Home Managers to identify training needs
  • Liaising with Home Managers to assign courses to Learners
  • Monitor Learners' progression and promote timely course completion
  • Deliver required mandatory training (inhouse) at all locations
  • Deliver required "valueadd" / adhoc training (inhouse) at all locations
  • Undertake training to courses to further own professional knowledge / development
  • Work collaboratively with all Homes to ensure Training compliance in line with CQC regulations and best practice
  • Identify specific needs and highlighting areas for improvement
  • Train colleagues on Company Policy & Procedure
  • Develop good relationships with all stakeholders
  • Provide regular reporting to your line manager on training compliance
  • Train and support new members of staff with induction/orientation programmes.
  • Travel to company locations & training venues as directed / required.
  • Mandatory Training courses for delivery typically include but are not limited to:
  • Care Certificate (15 modules & assessment sign off) for new starters in Care with no previous experience.
  • Fire Safety / Awareness
  • Fire Marshall
  • Manual Handling of People & use of slings / hoists
  • Health & safety
  • Infection prevention & control
  • Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults
  • Food Hygiene
  • First Aid
  • Safe Handling & Administration of Medications
- "Value-add" Training courses for delivery typically include but are not limited to:

  • Health & Social Care QCF Diploma Levels 2,3,
  • DoLS / Mental Capacity Act (MCA)
  • Dementia awareness
  • Nutrition & Allergens
  • End of Life / Palliative care
  • Pressure Area care
  • Falls Awareness
  • GDPR / Confidentiality


You will be an experienced Trainer, preferably with Care sector experience, you can demonstrate that you are self motivated and able to work independently.


Salary:
£24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
