Your New Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Account Lead to join our Consulting Highways team in North Wales to work on NMWTRA.
These roads cover a total of approximately 180 miles and provide key transport links between North Wales, Mid Wales, and the rest of the UK.
Overall, the NMWTRA plays a crucial role in ensuring that the trunk roads in North Mid Wales are safe, well-maintained, and provide an efficient transport network for the region.
You will be responsible for:
- Manage a portfolio of highways projects, ensuring that they are delivered to the highest standard, on time, and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership to project teams.
- Ensure that projects comply with relevant legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
- Identify and manage risks and implement effective mitigation measures.
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules.
- Ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff

We want to hear from you if you have:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Chartered Engineer status
- Significant experience in the highways sector.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate project teams.
- Understanding of relevant legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
