Job Description - FIELD ART DIRECTOR SCENIC PAINTING

Job Title:
Field Art Director Scenic Painting

Location:
UK / KSA

Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary)

Key Responsibilities

Prepare a compilation of drawing and reference materials relevant to the task at hand.
Organisation of crews to maximise quality and productivity.
Provide all day technical and creative direction to the Creative Team.
Documentation of colour and process for every surface that is treated.
Finishing mural and scenic, backdrops and visual displays as per the drawing and sample provided.
Lead a team of Painters.

Key Skills / Experience Required

Educational Qualification

Associate degree, or bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or a related field.

Additional Qualifications / certifications

Design background.
Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Photoshop).

Prior experience

A minimum of 5 years' experience in technical trades and theme park construction.
Experience in Scenic painting, mural painting, props and digital painting.

Other skills (preferred)

Must have the ability to read and understand Elevation Drawings.
Excellent communication skills, selfstarter and highly motivated.
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Background/education in art with demonstrable body of work.
Ability to mix colours.
Ability to work in an outdoor construction environment including but not limited to working on ladders and scaffolding.

Salary:
£30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
