Reed Accountancy are representing an established business based in Kingswinford who are currently looking to recruit an experienced credit controller to join their existing team.

The business is a market leader in its sector area and have been operatingfor over 35 years and have grown significantly over that period and currently operate in the UK and several European countries.

Duties to include

Manage their time/ prioritise workload and be able to 'juggle' various matters at any given time

- 'Hit the ground running' as this is a high pressured, fast-moving environment

Quick learner
Deal with a high volume of work (750 plus, live accounts) as well as liaising with internal departments and external Solicitors and bailiffs
Ability to handle robust conversations with external customers and internal colleagues
Work well within a team
Liaise with various levels of management
Think outside the box and raise any possible issues that can be foreseen and share any knowledge with the team
Ideally, they should have at least 2+ years pure Credit Control experience
Knowledge/ experience of working alongside Solicitors (i.e., the structure of issuing a 7day letter through to Bankruptcy/ Winding up) would be a bonus, but is not essential
Knowledge/ experience in the property industry would be a bonus, but not essential
To stand their ground with some tenants and be able to be humble and 'back off' as and when required, with others
Negotiate payment plans
Keep to deadlines
Good time keeping
Good excel knowledge to cover basic Pivot tables and lookups
Professional attitude
Good telephone manner
Work quickly but with attention to detail

Benefits and salary package

Salary; £23 £25k
Holiday: 27 days (3 of which are reserved for Christmas), rising to 28 days at 4 years' service and to 29 days at 8 years' service
Hours; 9am to 5pm with one hour for lunch between 1pm 2pm (35 hour working week)
