Overview
To provide support, maintenance and administration of business critical Information Technology systems to BCMGlobal and its clients.


Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Strategic Focus

  • Delivery of IT strategy via completion of assigned tasks
Operational Management

  • Providing 1st line service desk support for all technology solutions, resolving incidents within SLA or escalating where appropriate
  • Assisting with the purchasing, configuration, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of computer hardware and software, remote services and associated peripheral devices
  • User account creation and management
  • Prioritising and managing multiple open incidents, keeping the service desk and customer updated throughout the process
Governance & Risk

  • Maintaining legislative compliance and mitigating risk by working to a structured methodology and following all procedures and policies

Experience & Personal Attributes

  • 5 GCSE's at grade C or higher or equivalent IT qualification (Desirable)
  • Enthusiasm for technology and developing a career in IT support
  • Selfmotivated
  • High attention to detail
Desirable

  • Comfortable working in a team; a good team player
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able and comfortable at communicating at all levels within an organisation
  • Excellent problemsolving skills, able to use initiative
  • Ability to work to aggressive deadlines in dynamically moving situations and to be able to multitask
  • An active interest in maintaining their own continuing professional development (CPD)
