Bookkeeper / Estate Management Assistant

Part time role

Swansea

£24,000 - £26,000 (pro rata)

The Company


A well-established commercial property management company based in Swansea is currently looking for a part time Bookkeeper/Administrator to join their busy office.

They manage a portfolio of commercial properties throughout the UK and are highly regarded in their field. The office is always busy and productive.

The staff work well together as a professional team, solving problems and assisting others in a meaningful and fulfilling manner.


The Role


This position is a part time role which will require you to work 50% of the company's standard 37.5-hours week during their standard full time working hours which are Monday - Friday 08:30AM - 04:00PM.


Responsibilities include:

  • Processing invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Assist Company Accountant with administrative duties in preparation with periodic accounts
  • Credit Control
  • General estate management functions with tenants, suppliers, and contractors

Requirements:

The successful applicant will have the following qualifications, experience, and qualities:

  • Bookkeeping experience essential
  • Previous experience using Sage is also essential to this role
  • Professional manner with good people skills
  • Demonstrate experience in a role combining bookkeeping, administration and a good communicator with a solid customer service ethic
  • Proficient with Word and Excel
  • Attention to detail with above average data and record keeping skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Flexible and willing to help out when and where required
