Swansea

£ £35000PA Negotiable Plus bonus

The Company
This Swansea based organisation manufacturer and distribute a wide variety of Fire Alarm Systems to a global network. Their quality products are well renowned in the industry and sold in over 40 countries. Through research and development their products are continually adapted to keep up with new technology and innovations. Excellent opportunity to join a company producing Welsh manufactured products.


The Role
The position is permanent, full time and you will work on-site at their Swansea based premises.


Hours of work are 08:00AM - 05:00PM Monday to Thursday and finishing early at 02:30PM on a Friday but could be slightly negotiable if required.

This role has 3 main functions, Accounts, Payroll and HR with Accounts requiring the largest portion of your time.


Duties will include:

Accounting

  • Full bookkeeping function using Sage 50
  • Debtors and creditors control
  • Invoicing and accounting data capture
  • Monthly reconciliations
  • Providing financial reports for the financial director

Payroll

  • Control and processing of time sheets
  • Capturing, maintaining and processing payroll information
  • Ensuring payroll runs smoothly

HR

  • Handling all HR matters escalated from line management including disciplinary issues
  • Recruitment and onboarding of new employees
  • Control of leave / sick leave entitlement
  • Management of staff records and performance reviews
  • Ensuring all relevant HR documentation and procedures are maintained and up to date with latest legislation

Requirements:

The successful applicant will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Previous experience in handling the full accounting / bookkeeping function
  • Solid understanding of HR procedures and latest policies
  • Payroll experience
  • Sage 50 or experience on a similar accounting package as well as general computer litteracy
  • A responsible person able to work with minimum supervision
  • Team player
  • Flexible and willing to assist the team where ever required
