Description

• This is a 6-month post in Renal Medicine starting in August 2024, with a possibility of extension.
• Suitability for those finishing core training looking to gain Nephrology experience before choosing a specialty or preparing for ST3 applications.
• Opportunity to pursue the CESR route for renal certification.

• Work alongside NTN renal trainees for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Lead ward teams and provide AKI support.
• Participate in clinics including Transplant, Vasculitis, General Nephrology, and Dialysis.
• Troubleshoot in haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis departments.
• Gain proficiency in renal procedures and other related techniques.
• Participate in the renal registrar on-call rota.
• Standard daytime shifts included with no overnight on-call commitment.

• Professional Registration: On the GMC Register, MRCP 1 and 2, Royal College Membership or equivalent.
• Experience/Qualifications: Minimum of four years postgraduate medical experience.
• Skills: Clinical skills at an SHO level, understanding of clinical audit principles, proficient in English, IT skills, adaptability, integrity, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
