Job Description My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager to join their site on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

The company is well established, financial stable and have earned a reputation as an excellent employer.

With an increase in production on site, it has become inevitable that they are now looking for another Production Manager to support them.

Planning and organising production schedules
Ensure production is cost effective, ran as efficiently as possible and minimise overtime spend
Escalate production issues or problems to the Operations Manager as required.
Overseeing the production process, ensuring adherence to required process and quality controls
Reviewing departments performance against Action Plans and KPI's
Ensure the shop floor is kept up to date on factory performance and news relevant to the business
5+ years minimum experience in a manufacturing management role
~ Sound knowledge, understanding and examples of implementation of lean manufacturing principles and methods
~ Excellent project management skills
~ Successful track record of training employees in productivity and safety
~ Successful implementation of an effective succession planning program
