Load and unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and other material handling equipment.

On intake, have the ability to check off the quantity received, use by date, batch codes and any other key information from the supplier. Cross referencing this against the delivery note to ensure we are receiving the correct quantity of stock.
Store the products in correct locations within the warehouse.
Transport products to and from warehouse.
Sort, pack, wrap and label products as per company procedures.
Transfer of stock using the computer system.
Weighing of stock to 'spot check' weights of products.
Counting of stock in the area
Clean work area and equipment regularly by removing empty pallets, wood and plastic.
Maintain forklift equipment, performing routine pre and post inspections.
Maintain material handling equipment by recharging, cleaning, oiling, refueling and other necessary actions and record all information on log sheet.
Identify and report faulty equipment, damages, and safety concerns to area Manager.
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
