Description
We're currently recruiting for a Lead Service Designer to deliver premium event experiences to our client's customers.

Service Design is a new discipline in the team, with a primary function of mapping out the end-to-end customer experience journey.

TheService Designer will map out the journey from the initial event invite to buying ticket, communication releases, attending the event and networking as well as follow up communications and assets.

6 months (likely to extend)

London/Hybrid (twice a week in the office, with the expectation to attend events)

Essentials:


  • Extensive commercial experience on endtoend Service Design
  • Examples of using Service Design to drive business change: cost savings, value creation, operational efficiencies, and customer benefits
  • Comfortable navigating a large organisation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management, working cross functionally with different areas of the business
  • Strong experience in the typical service design toolkit: interviewing, drawing insights from quantitative data, journey mapping, service blueprinting, workshop facilitation, service prototyping
  • Confident with Figma or a similar tool
  • Comfortable in an Agile environment
  • Ability to operate alone as the only Service Designer in the team: show initiative, autonomy and can set your own work and goals

Desirable:


  • Media/publishing experience

Responsibilities:

This role requires working through the entire service design and delivery process to:

  • Understand and visualise how the client provides events, identify pain points and how changes can be implemented to improve customer experience
  • Identify the positives from customer experiences to help with future events
  • Reimagine and prototype a premium events experience
  • Educate stakeholder groups on the benefits of a service design approach
  • Knowledge sharing with wider teams
