Financial Modeller I 9 Month Contract I Central London I Retail & Entertainment I £500 - £750/day

Key Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain complex financial models detailing operational scenarios of the global entertainment business.
  • Work closely with the Transformation Director to align the existing sets of models into the new parent company, adjusting any existing or inherited models to suit the needs of data reports, stakeholder report requirements and adaptations to the business environment as the merger proceeds.
  • Review and adjust where necessary existing and inherited financial plans and models to ensure accuracy and development of new transaction and forecast models.
  • Deliver scenario based modelling forecasts for at individual, entity and global consolidated level for the business including transaction impact, local tax rules, equity structures and market factors
  • Have prior experience in deal valuations to illustrate commercial viability for future exits, disposals and acquisitions for up to a 10yr forecast period.
  • Scrutinise data requirements, deviation rules and provide accurate tracking updates on a regular basis to the transformation and finance teams.
  • Deliver a monthly and quarterly model update with commentary, presenting to key business stakeholders.

Key Requirements:


  • ACA or equivalent qualified
  • Minimum 2 years' post qualified experience, and working industry experience of financial modelling, scenariobased modelling and deal valuations.
  • A strong understanding of financial modelling from a consumer / B2C perspective
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • High levels of resilience, adaptability and an ability to work across multiple workstreams / projects at once
  • Experience communicating with multidisciplinary teams; finance, transformation, IT, consultancies etc,
