    As a Senior Accounts Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the companies finance department, overseeing the purchase ledger, sales ledger, and the full accounts function.

    Your expertise in transactional accounting, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines will be essential in this varied role

    Job Title:
    Accounts Assistant
    Circa £30,000pa plus bonus, 25 days holiday and much more
    Manage the purchase ledger, including processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and making payments.
    Maintain the sales ledger, including raising invoices, posting receipts, and credit control.
    Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
    Provide support in the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
    Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
    Proven experience in transactional accounting, with a strong understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger, and general accounting principles.
    AAT qualification or equivalent would be advantageous.
    Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
