Role:
Account Manager - (Retail Energy Suppliers - metering)


Location:
Remote/Nottingham office 1-2 day per week


Salary:
£45k £50k + Bonus


Benefits: 50% Bonus + car + 10% pension + Bupa


Summary:


Key responsibilities:


  • Responsibility for the entire account process contracted meters to payment
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, resulting in the generation of new opportunities.
  • Manage customer complaints as a point of escalation
  • Develop a sound customer contact network
  • Generate knowledge of the customer's specific strategy and its business environment
  • Build supplier marketspecific valueoriented propositions.
  • Define and implement account business plans (3 to 5 years).
  • Have good financial management invoicing and debt management
  • Completion of all internal reporting, approval, and governance documentation
  • Initiate, facilitate, and lead contract negotiations for new services, variations, and renewals.
  • Analyse customer's needs to investigate opportunities for additional services

Skills and experience required:


  • Experienced B2B Account Manager in energy / utilities ideally retail energy supplier/ metering
  • The ability to communicate, influence and present effectively at all levels
  • Experience developing enduring and profitable customer relationships
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Effective and proven commercial negotiation skills
  • Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness
