Role:
Account Manager - (Retail Energy Suppliers - metering)
Location:
Remote/Nottingham office 1-2 day per week
Salary:
£45k £50k + Bonus
Benefits: 50% Bonus + car + 10% pension + Bupa
Summary:
Key responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the entire account process contracted meters to payment
- Ensure customer satisfaction, resulting in the generation of new opportunities.
- Manage customer complaints as a point of escalation
- Develop a sound customer contact network
- Generate knowledge of the customer's specific strategy and its business environment
- Build supplier marketspecific valueoriented propositions.
- Define and implement account business plans (3 to 5 years).
- Have good financial management invoicing and debt management
- Completion of all internal reporting, approval, and governance documentation
- Initiate, facilitate, and lead contract negotiations for new services, variations, and renewals.
- Analyse customer's needs to investigate opportunities for additional services
Skills and experience required:
- Experienced B2B Account Manager in energy / utilities ideally retail energy supplier/ metering
- The ability to communicate, influence and present effectively at all levels
- Experience developing enduring and profitable customer relationships
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Effective and proven commercial negotiation skills
- Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness
