An excellent opportunity for an experienced and career-driven Company Accountant has arisen with a multi-faceted business based near Exmouth.

Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finances for the various company entities.

This is a really diverse, broad and commercial role with fantastic long-term potential:


Some of the key responsibilities:

  • Produce monthly management accounts and assist in the preparation of VAT returns and statutory accounts.
  • Manage the Sales and Purchase ledgers and provide the necessary reporting.
  • Ensure that all cash and bank records are reconciled on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare tax returns.
  • Cashflow forecasting.
  • Other finance tasks as requested by the Director.
This role will suit an AAT qualified, or part-qualified Accountant with extensive experience of working in a similar position. You will need to have excellent IT skills and will be required to have advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication skills area must, as well as a strong ability to manage and prioritise a high-volume workload. You will need to be a proactive thinker and demonstrate a commercial ability to project-manage to tight deadlines.
