BRIEF OVERVIEW


Leading contractor that provides electrical and mechanical services to the construction industry is urgently looking for an Electrical Estimator to be based in their Derby offices.


ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Represent the company in an honest and professional manner at all times.
  • Carry out the tenders for electrical installation projects with values ranging from £300k to £5.0 Million in value.
  • Provide tender support to other estimators, design staff and contracts staff on an ongoing basis.
  • Liaise with suppliers, wholesalers and manufacturers during the tender process.
  • Attend internal and external tender meetings on projects when required
  • Liaise with clients, construction companies, architects and engineers as required.
  • Provision of supporting tender information to contracts & design department.
  • Play a prominent part in the estimating team during the tender process
- working independently as well as part of the estimating team when necessary

  • Liaise with sub contractors and suppliers.
  • Assist building close relationships with clients and potential clients.
  • Attend technical and health and safety courses required.

SALARY PACKAGE

  • Salary £50,000 £55,000
